Job Description - Growth

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: ~3 days in office)
Industry: SaaS / Climate Tech / Growth
Base Salary: $100K–$130K

About the Company

Our partner is a Series A startup backed by leading investors such as Accel and CRV, with $15M raised to date and a customer base that already includes household names like FedEx, UPS, and Google. Over the past six months, the company has grown more than 100% and built a team of ~15 people, roughly half of whom come from MIT, including one of the founders.

The culture is ambitious but sustainable: the team works a standard five-day week and prioritizes high performance without burnout. With top-tier venture backing, Fortune 500 traction, and a highly collaborative, technical team, our partner is tackling some of the hardest problems in climate tech.

The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring a Growth Associate to design and execute scalable outbound campaigns, generate qualified pipeline, and support go-to-market initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and operations. You’ll use modern growth tools (Clay, Growth Machine, Apollo) to build automated, highly personalized campaigns that reach decision-makers at some of the world’s largest companies.

For someone who has experimented with outbound sales, enjoys tinkering with growth tooling, and wants to build a career at the intersection of climate and AI-driven SaaS, this is an opportunity to join a small, high-caliber team where impact and visibility are immediate.

What You’ll Do

  • Own approximately 50–60% of lead generation efforts, including market research, campaign design, and account prospecting
  • Run automated, highly personalized outbound campaigns (no high-volume cold calling)
  • Experiment with LinkedIn and Google Ads to support broader marketing efforts
  • Contribute to general operations and ad hoc projects that move the business forward
  • Work closely with leadership and Account Executives to fuel the sales engine

Requirements

  • Familiarity with growth and outbound sales tools (e.g., Clay, Apollo, Growth Machine)
  • Approximately 6–12 months of outbound or SDR/BDR experience (preferred but flexible)
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with semi-technical tools
  • Ability to balance creative experimentation with data-driven decision-making
  • Excited to grow in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment with Fortune 500 exposure
