Job Description - Growth and Business Development Manager - with Growth Opportunities

CVS Health Accountable Care is committed to growing our value-based care footprint and supporting providers in successfully delivering on value-based care programs. The Growth and Business Development Manager is a key member of our high-performance Growth and Business Development Team focused on identifying potential partners who will benefit from our products and services. As our prospects' initial point of communication with our sales team, ideal Growth and Business Development Manager will excel at researching leads, generating new relationships, conducting outbound campaigns, and setting our sales executives up for success. Ideal candidate is a quick learner, has strong communication skills, the ability to present our partnership in a compelling way, and is passionate about making a difference in healthcare. Candidates will also support and advance the development and execution of projects across and beyond the Business Development team.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager Sales Operations.

What will you do?

Ideally, a candidate should be comfortable taking a proactive, hands-on approach to generating opportunities and interested in working collaboratively to develop, execute, and improve team processes. Key responsibilities include:

Lead Generation and Sales Support (50%)

  • Represent CVS Health Accountable Care 's products and services to potential clients across the health care landscape – including providers and health plans
  • Identify prospect's needs and introduce products/services
  • Generate leads and build relationships by influencing and supporting Marketing lead generation efforts, nurturing warm prospects, and finding new potential sales targets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, engaging sales executives for next steps
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Support sales executives in progressing and closing sales, through activities such as requesting pro formas, helping develop presentations, researching follow-up questions, etc.
  • Attend conferences and other marketing events to tell the CVS Health Accountable Care story and generate leads for sales team
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM and other sales resources, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation efforts
  • Report out activities/results on a regular basis

Sales Operations and Project Management (50%)

  • Maintain SalesForce CRM for own activities and in support of designated sales executives
  • Manage projects supporting commercialization activities, team trainings, and communication
  • Prepare job aids and other documentation for workflows, processes, or assets
  • Lead workflow development and process improvement for team processes

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred, especially in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment

The base salary hiring range for this position is $74,700 to $130,200. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
