Job Summary:
He/she is in responsible for ensuring GSI (Global Single Instance) Core Model (ERP processes) is correctly implemented and used, according to processes & rules, configuration, and data. His/her main activities are to duplicate the Maximo Purchase Orders by entering them into GSI (SAP based ERP tool)., to communicate on any changes, and apply ERP business rules and tools. He/she is the local process ambassador of the Procurement function.
Purpose of the Job
- He (she) ensures that the Core model Information Solution is well used at plant level, according to processes & rules, config, and data:
- Leader of PO data accuracy, including both static & dynamic data
- Follows methodology, rules, processes, and tools dedicated to his function.
- He (she) is the entry point of legacy Maximo information into GSI.
- He (she) is the pointer person to resolve invoicing issues through.
- Inspire tool and must work with site buyer during resolution.
- This person is accountable for process solving issues
- This position reports to GSI Key User for Services Procurement
- Reports directly to: Site Procurement Director
Set up full supplier selection process
- Monitor Procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
- Ensure work package sheet commitment respect
- Prepare Business Award as needed
- Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
- Coordinate project with all métiers
- Ensure the on-time delivery and quality are secured
Support commodity strategy
- Consolidate the commodity needs, inputs
- Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Provide imputes to build differentiation Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
- Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions.
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and
- stakeholders in problem solving
- Apply the Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience
Build Supplier relationship
- Support global supplier panel relationship
- Manage initial issues before escalation to line manager
- Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines
Performance measurements:
- Timeliness and completeness of work
- Non-Conformities Event and On Time Delivery
- Panel situation Supplier compliancy status rate
What you will receive:
Pay rate: $33.66/hr
Hours: Day shift, flexible; 40 hours onsite
Duration: Temp to Hire (based on business needs)
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years SAP procurement experience
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Excellent Communication skills & Team spirit
- Results oriented.
- Rigorous and structured.
