GSS Well Operations Analyst

Well Operation Optimization Engineer located in Alaska are trained to perform services across the Schlumberger Well Integrity and Drilling Performance Portifolios. Optiwell Sevice often serve as central point to integrate data and models output from other services, regardless of the service provider on Site. They will be communicating with Client representatives and the rig personnel any information, regarding Wellbore integrity and Drilling Performance, following a defined Standard Operating Procedure and reporting workflow process that will be developed between slb and the Client.\n\nThe main responsibilities will be to:\n\n * Monitor all real-time drilling/completion paramenter per Optiwell workflow, detect anomalies and communicate observations per defined communication protocol.\n * Provide daily activity summary report\n * Ensure compliance with Client standard procedures and communication protocols\n * Diagnose and analyze drilling operation issues, provide mitigation recommendations\n * Identify and recommend opportunities for performance improvement, support timely implementation included but not limited to better BHA design to minimize drilling shoks and vibrations, review \u0026 recommend best practices of special projects like ERD, MPD \u0026 UBD and identify the waste time in current drilling practices \u0026 ways to efficiently drill at lower cost per ft.\n * Support and participate in collaboration sessions (pre-spud meetings, morning meetings, after action reviews, etc)\n * Liaise with Client Drilling Engineers and other stakeholders as required.\n * Review pre-section model and expected parameters, recalibrate models if deemed necessary and QA/QC pre job data entry before lifting to advance monitoring analyst and ingestion in real time monitoring system.\n * Prepare pre job roadmap, integrating engineering models, risk and risk mitigation, best practice, benchmark. These documents support rig operation and bridge the gap between drilling team, rig site and remote operation center\n * Prepare summary reports for after-actions reviews, including key observations, recommendations, etc.\n * Coach Client staff on use of the real-time system to facilitate technology uptake.\n\n\n\nBachelors/Masters in STEM\n\nO\u0026G preferred\n\nMust have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. \n
