GOLF CART PATROL & GUARD HOUSE SECURITY OFFICER
Location: Houston, TX 77057
Pay Rate: $17.50 Per Hour
Job Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week
JOB SUMMARY
Star Protection Agency is seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Security Officer to perform golf cart patrols and guard house duties at a residential community in Houston, TX 77057.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage access control while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Punctuality, reliability, and completing assigned patrols on schedule are essential requirements.
WORK SCHEDULE – 40 HOURS PER WEEK
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (4 hours)
- Thursday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours)
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours)
- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12 hours)
Total: 40 Hours Weekly | $17.50 Per Hour
Applicants must be available to work the complete assigned schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GUARD HOUSE & ACCESS CONTROL
- Monitor and control entry and exit of residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
- Verify visitor authorization and follow established entry procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and access records.
- Monitor security cameras, gates, and access control equipment as assigned.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and security concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional guard house.
GOLF CART PATROL
- Safely operate a golf cart throughout the assigned property.
- Complete all scheduled patrols on time.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and property concerns.
- Inspect the golf cart and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate patrol logs and incident reports.
- Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Follow all post orders, safety procedures, and company policies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Texas Security Officer License (Level II or III, as applicable) – REQUIRED.
- Valid Texas driver's license or Identification
- Previous security experience, preferably in residential communities, guard houses, or mobile patrol.
- Experience with access control, visitor verification, and security reporting preferred.
- Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
- Ability to operate a golf cart safely and responsibly.
- Ability to remain alert, organized, and attentive throughout the shift.
- Strong conflict-management and de-escalation skills.
- Reliable transportation to Houston, TX 77057.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed post orders.
- Successful completion of required background screening and onboarding.
