Position Overview:
As a Substitute Guest Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service during peak times or when regular staff members are unavailable. Your friendly demeanor and commitment to guest satisfaction will help create a positive experience for everyone who interacts with our university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and students in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries about our programs and services.
  • Assist with scheduling and confirming beauty service appointments.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of guest interactions.
  • Address guest concerns efficiently and empathetically.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Undertake administrative tasks to support the operational needs of the university as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in customer service or related fields is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and readiness to assist where needed.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $14.00 and $15.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
