As the face of our hotel, Guest Services Agents are responsible for creating exceptional first and last impressions while delivering genuine hospitality throughout every guest's stay. From welcoming guests at check-in to assisting with questions, resolving concerns, and providing local recommendations, you'll play an important role in making every stay memorable.

Position Summary


The Guest Services Agent is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while performing front desk operations, assisting guests throughout their stay, and ensuring Hyatt brand standards are consistently met.


This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


 


Essential Functions


Guest Service




  • Welcome guests with a warm, genuine, and professional attitude.




  • Provide efficient check-in and check-out experiences.




  • Respond promptly to guest questions, requests, and concerns.




  • Resolve guest issues using sound judgment and excellent service recovery techniques.




  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining, and area events.




  • Create memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat visits and positive reviews.




Front Desk Operations




  • Process reservations, room assignments, billing, and payments accurately.




  • Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.




  • Balance cash drawer and complete required front desk reports.




  • Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's property management system.




  • Ensure lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming.




Teamwork & Communication




  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Breakfast, and Management to meet guest needs.




  • Assist with coordinating special requests and VIP arrivals.




  • Support fellow team members during busy periods and work together to ensure smooth hotel operations.




  • Participate in daily shift pass-on and maintain clear communication between shifts.




Brand Standards & Safety




  • Follow Hyatt brand standards, company policies, and operational procedures.




  • Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality.




  • Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures.




  • Complete additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership.




 


Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications




  • Previous customer service experience required.




  • Previous hotel, retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.




  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.




  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.




  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.




  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
