Guest Services Director

PARKVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH is looking for a Guest Services Director to join this exciting and fast-paced team.  Parkview is one church with three campus locations in the south suburbs of Chicago (Homer Glen, New Lenox and Orland Park).  The Orland Park Campus is seeking a full-time Guest Services Director to implement a well-defined vision and strategy for leadership, training and support for Parkview Worship volunteers while serving as a spiritual role model.

Responsibilities
 

• Carry out Parkview’s vision for Guest Services with excellence as directed by the Orland Park Campus Pastor and the Guest Services Central Leader. 


• Lead the Coaches in all areas of Guest Services at the Orland Campus.  Equip these leaders to recruit, schedule, and train their teams to carry out their Guest Services role. 


• Conduct leadership training for Guest Services Coaches and Leaders.  


• Oversee volunteer assimilation of all Guest Services recruits ensuring that no volunteer recruit is left behind. 

• Conduct Guest Services Orientations to help new recruits find their fit. 


• Ensure that each First Serve experience is exceptional -- new recruits are given clear information, are welcomed and connected to their First Serve trainer who introduces them to other volunteers, socializes with them, and gives them a “day on the job” overview. 

• Provide a Volunteer Central that is inviting and honors our volunteers. 


• Plan and execute campus engagement events with the Campus Pastor. 


• Work alongside the Central Guest Services team to remain within budgetary guidelines regarding department spending. 

• Serve on the Pastoral Care team (assisting as needed with baptisms, weddings, funerals, and pastoral care). 


• Oversee the baptism team, coordinate baptism schedules with the Orland Park Campus Administrative Assistant, and oversee the execution of weekend baptisms before and after services.
