About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Inn at Nye Beach as a Hotel Front Desk Associate in beautiful Newport, OR! This exciting role offers you the opportunity to create memorable experiences for our guests while working in a positive and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Process reservations and maintain an organized booking system.
- Assist with guest requests and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Utilize hotel management software to manage guest accounts and billing.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is a plus.
