Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidance Counselor to join our team! As the Guidance Counselor at our school, you will assist students in reaching their academic and career goals and support their mental and social well-being. Your primary goal will be to enable the students to grow and develop into successful and well-adjusted individuals.

Responsibilities

Create a comprehensive counseling program using the latest in counseling best practices

Lead group and individual counseling sessions that address students’ challenges and concerns

Identify at-risk students and respond accordingly

Facilitate aptitude tests and help students realize their potential

Communicate with parents, teachers, and other school personnel

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Guidance Counselor is preferred

Awareness and understanding of cultural and societal differences

Knowledge of and adherence to industry regulations and best practices in counseling methods

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills

Master’s degree in counseling with guidance counseling credentials

Compensation: $60,000.00 per hour
