Guidance Navigation Control Engineer (Engineer or Principal Engineer Level)

Flight plan mission analysis for the HALE program using 6 Degree Of Freedom (6DOF) simulation and various UAV route analysis tools Work with mission planners to develop UAV routing Technical spokesman for mission analysis with customers, including preparation and presentation of technical briefings Multi-disciplinary knowledge to direct or mentor subordinate personnel on HALE mission profiles Support proposal preparation efforts and new project activities, including responsibility for project technical aspects, cost, schedule, and reviews Executing excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Must have a Bachelors of Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field with at least 2 years of related military / professional experience OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field with at least some related academic experience Must have a Bachelors of Science in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field with at least 5 years of related military / professional experience OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field with at least 3 years of related military / professional experience, OR a Ph.D. and at least 1 year of related military / professional experience Flight test experience Pilot experience Knowledge of fixed-wing aircraft flight dynamics Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher Knowledge of GIS Software and GIS techniques Knowledge of Relational Databases (such as MSSQL or MySQL) Proficiency with MATLAB, C/C++, Java, Python Knowledge of flight sciences, control law development, and control system analysis
