Gutter Guards Direct has been helping homeowners solve gutter and water problems since 1996.
We service customers in several states, including Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. We are looking for select individuals who are quality and detail oriented, reliable and want to be paid well for challenging work. If you like to work outside, aren't afraid of heights, and want to help homeowners solve problems while in the field, then we might have a career opening for you.
What we do:
We sell and install a comprehensive line of gutter protection systems, gutters, and related services.
We offer an excellent opportunity for the right person or company to make good income installing gutters and gutter guards. We have options for subcontract, part -time, and full -time work.
Our Expectations:
If you possess the following qualities, then let's talk:
- You must be physically able and willing to climb ladders up to 4 -stories (35 -40 feet), while following our installation and safety guidelines.
- If your idea of a "job well done" means that you've taken the time to assess the situation, you've asked for help when you don't know the answer, and you have taken all the appropriate steps to do the job right the first time, then let's talk.
- If you're looking out for the best interests of our customers, you've followed our methodology and completed the work to spec, then let's talk.
- If you're proud of your work and don't mind it being reviewed by your supervisor, then let's talk.
- If you think that making mistakes is okay, but are willing to learn from those mistakes, then let's talk.
- If you are presentable, personable, friendly, and get along well with others, then let's talk.
- If you have an eye for detail and 'doing the job right the first time,' then let's talk.
- If you want to develop personally and professionally and advance your career in this field, then let's talk.
- If you have never done this type of work or have limited experience in this industry, but you like the concept of it and want to become an expert in your field, then let's talk.
If any of the following applies to you, then please don't apply:
- If the idea of going through company training simply to make a few bucks seems like a sound strategy, then don't apply.
- If you're primarily interested in yourself - - when and how much you get paid - - and all the work required to get to the finish line doesn't matter, then please don't apply.
- If you like to "party" before and/or during work hours, then please don't apply.
- If you like to sleep -in late and show up when you want rather than adhering to the company's schedule, then please don't apply.
- If you are unable or unwilling to do the work required for personal success and development, then please don't apply.
- If you have a 'can't teach an old dog new tricks' type of mentality or you think that you know everything, so company training and continuous improvement isn't important to your personal development - - even having been in this line of work for a while - - then please don't apply. On the other hand, if you think that your approach is sound, solid and reasonable, then we want to talk with you.
You must have the willingness and ability to participate in paid classroom and/or on -the -job company training. Classroom training will be moved into the field where you will be paid to work with another crew until you meet their expectations. Once you have successfully completed training, we will either assign you to a crew or help you form a crew.
If you are hired as a sub -contractor, you must have a valid company registration (LLC, S -Corp, etc.), liability insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance in the state in which we are asking you to work. You must have appropriate and reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and auto insurance. You will need certain tools to install gutters and gutter guards (drills, ladders, etc.). If we invite you to become a part - or full -time employee, then some of these requirements will not apply.
If you’re anywhere from an experienced gutter and/or gutter guards installer, all the way to a self -driven college student looking for part -time work that pays well and has flexible hours, this may be a great fit.
