Gym Head Teacher

ull time POSITION SUMMARY: The Clear View School / AMIC & Supportive Families is looking for a Physical Education teacher to work full time for our Day Treatment Center, who can provide an active learning environment where all students can excel academically, physically, and socially. PRIMARY DUTIES: Develop and implement fun lesson plans and class activities for Physical Education and Health classes aligned with New York State Standards. Assess students regularly and analyze student results; refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs. Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged. Maintain accurate student records, including attendanc.e Identify unique student needs and collaborate with peer teachers to effectively address those needs. Support the school's Strategic Planning initiatives, emphasizing strengthening the culture. Demonstrate commitment to the school's purpose, vision, and mission. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Hourly Rate: $35.79hr.

 REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Certification in Special Education
• Physical Education
• Ability and willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices. Compassionate and Passionate; Results-driven and goal-oriented. Excellent classroom management skills. Provide positive behavior intervention with support. Effective interpersonal communication skills with colleagues, parents, and students. Knowledge of the subject matter.
