Habilitation Caregiver for NW Tucson (Consistent Schedule!)
Location: Tucson, AZ
Pay: $19 per hour (part time)
UCPSA is looking for 2–3 confident, compassionate, and experienced caregivers to support a young adult female in Northwest Tucson. This consistent, predictable position is a great fit for someone who values routine, wants a dependable schedule, and enjoys community outings. The member enjoys socializing, dancing, listening to music, and playing games.

What you’ll do:
Morning Shift:
- Arrive and check in with the member
- Monitor for any signs of seizures
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals using the preplanned menu and food charts and encourage the member to drink water throughout the shift
- Assist with ADLs as needed, including washing up, brushing teeth, and brushing hair; the level of support may vary
- Get paid to accompany and work out with the member at the onsite gym, pool, walking paths etc.
-Work on various habilitation goals to support independence
Evening Shift:
- Arrive and check in with the member
- Monitor for any signs of seizures
- Prepare meals using the preplanned menu and food charts, and encourage the member to drink water throughout the shift
- Provide medication reminders
-Community outing or accompanying member to onsite gym and support safe use of equipment
- Remind and help the member complete household cleaning tasks
- Assist with showering and the bedtime routine; the level of support may vary
-Work on various habilitation goals to support independence
Who you are:
-Experience working with individuals with disabilities

-Reliable and committed to a consistent weekly schedule
Available Shifts:
-Sundays 9am-1pm
-Tuesdays 10am-2pm
-Thursdays 10am-2pm
-Tuesdays 4pm-8pm
-Thursdays 4pm-8pm
Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Ability to travel independently to client’s visits
Ability to obtain a FA/CPR certification
Successful fingerprint and DES/CPS/APS clearance
Ability to work without direct supervision
Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of caregiving
At least 90 days of caregiving experience
