Job Description - Hair Stylist

NEW location now open in the popular Mellody Farm shopping center! Next to Whole Foods, Nordstrom, and tons of shopping!
Join the growing team of the only Blo Blow Dry Bar in Illinois!

No cut, no color. Just blowouts and styling! Plus, opportunity to train on extensions, makeup, upstyles, etc

We provide the (best) clients, you provide the service!

Full and part time positions available

Stable base salary (not commission based!) plus bonuses, tips

Continued education including styling, extensions, and makeup

Understand the importance of maintaining a squeaky-clean work environment when working as a stylist

You work one-on-one with our Lead Stylist to learn how to master Blo’s 5 signature styles and more (via Blo’s paid training program)

You Must Have:

An up-to-date Illinois cosmetology license

The ability to work weekends (some combination of Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday. Not necessarily all weekend or every weekend)

A passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry and making people feel better

This is an hourly position- regardless of whether you are taking clients, you get paid! Plus tips, bonuses for upselling, and commission on retail products. Please note the hourly starting is approximately $15/hour, but with tips and bonuses we estimate you'd make $30+ per hour with clients.
