Job Summary

Cuts, styles and colors hair catering to an upscale DC client base. We seek experienced Stylists who are professional, motivated, business growth oriented and a team player.

General Accountabilities

Washes, shampoos, conditions and rinses hair.

Evaluates clients' hair and physical characteristics to recommend appropriate hair style.

Cuts, trims, and styles hair using scissors, clippers, trimmers and/or razors.

Highlights or dyes hair based on instructions provided by client.

Maintains clean and sanitized work station.

Sanitizes tools and equipment, such as scissors and combs, after each use.

Answers phone and schedules client appointments.

Receives payments from customers.

Actively seeks to learn new styles and techniques.

Job Qualifications

Education: Successful completion of cosmetology curriculum

Experience: 3-7 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Licenses/Certifications: Cosmetology certification required

Advance skills in cutting and coloring

Commission and tip pay

Work on site

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
