Job Summary
We are seeking GOOD PEOPLE to join our team, providing customers with a variety of cuts, colors and styles and helping them to look their best. You’ll recommend the best REDKEN, IGK, MIZANI and OLAPLEX products and services for each individual client’s needs and preferences. Most importantly, you'll be working in a fun, busy, and supportive salon environment with other passionate and talented hair artists.
We believe strongly in always being kind and always continuing to grow professionally and personally. We are also very lucky to work in an iconic, Chicago landmark salon (Established in 1975), in the best neighborhood there is! *Positions available for chair rental, commission-based stylist and for apprentices to train with our senior stylists.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customers’ face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate haircuts and hairstyles.
- Wash hair at hairwashing stations with appropriate products
- Apply hair treatment products
- Execute flawless haircuts, trims
- Apply highlights, ombre, balayage, and other hair coloring techniques
- Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casual
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required
- Valid Illinois Cosmetology License

Our first home was located on Halsted and Fullerton but after seven years our staff and clientele grew out of this location and in June of 1997 the 959 W Belmont home was born.
