Hand Inserting Position – Fulfillment Department 

Full Time/Regular Non-Exempt 

Summary: This position hand sorts and inserts a variety of client materials into various sized envelopes or into appropriate bins for pick- up and delivery to customers. 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Hand sort materials accurately and inserts materials into appropriate envelopes for mailing or bins for mailing. 

• Matches materials (names, numbers, etc.) for inserting 

• Sorts documents 

• Sorts materials and insert into envelopes for jobs that are not suitable for machine sorting and insertion 

• Hand addresses materials as required 

• Assembles per order and prepares for shipment 

• Completes all job tracking paperwork and hands off to the appropriate supervisor. 

• Demonstrates high levels of safety awareness and notifies supervisor of potential hazards 

• Follows the security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers 

Job Functions: 

• May weigh, label and log orders and apply postage and deliver to shipping area 

• Maintains appropriate housekeeping in work area 

• Performs other duties as assigned 

Requirements

  Qualifications for Position: 

• H.S. diploma or equivalent 

• Ability to read, write and speak English 

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, draw conclusions and create solutions to most complex problems 

• Attention to detail 

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 

Salary: $17-$19 an hour
