Job Title: Hand Solder Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Santa Ana, CA

We are seeking a skilled Hand Solder Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hand soldering and be able to work with a variety of electronic components. 

Responsibilities:

- Hand soldering of electronic components

- Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and schematics

- Inspection of solder joints to ensure quality standards are met

- Troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hand soldering

- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics

- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards

- Strong attention to detail and quality

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work under a microscope

- Ability to handle small parts

- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

- Able to sit for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in IPC-A-610

- Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) soldering

- Familiarity with ESD safety practices
