Handrail Installers & Trim Carpenters - $1000 Sign on Bonus

After the training period a piece rate is calculated. You will have the ability to earn an average of $20-$30 per hour, depending on production.

Well established company looking for a full-time, long-term Handrail Installation Artisan. The ideal candidate should have experience from carpentry, woodworking, or construction background. We will train qualified candidates, with a desire to learn a lifelong trade!

We are an established (over 30 years) stair company with booming business nationwide. We serve architects, designers, homeowners, general contractors, in residential and commercial custom architectural work.

Essential Functions:

• Installation of handrail systems in accordance with S.S.C. installation standards and local building codes
• Examining parts takeoffs and deliveries of stair parts to job sites
• Looking at all job situations and reporting unusual situations to installation manager
• Reporting shortages of parts to installation manager
• Keeping in close contact with installation manager on progress of jobs and schedules
• Responsible for neatness of job site while installations in progress for safety of installer and other individuals at job site

Requirements

Job Competencies:

• Ability to work with a variety of different materials (wood, metal, glass, cable, etc.)
• Solid math skills including basic geometry
• Strong attention to details

Qualifications:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Handrail experience
• Trim Carpentry
• Woodworking experience
• Construction experience
