Handyman

Description

Overview:

We are looking for a restaurant handyman responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our restaurant by performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks like sweeping floors, wiping down tale and chairs, removing trash, restocking supplies, general basic maintenance tasks, assisting with setting up and breaking down the dining areas and ensuring the restaurant is presentable for guests at all times. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and proper sanitation of the building, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and entrances
• Move, arrange, wipe down and pressure wash furniture and common areas as needed for various setups and events
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks using a variety of tools and equipment
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working order
• Identify and report any repairs or maintenance needs beyond basic capabilities
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in custodial duties and basic maintenance work
• Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and work demands
• Capability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good physical condition, able to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to collaborate with other team members to maintain the overall cleanliness of the building
• Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and appropriate cleaning supplies

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Hours vary.
