POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is for highly organized and customer-centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast growing company.
House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs form Boynton Beach to Boca Raton , Florida. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professionally perform a variety of handyman and home improvement projects including repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through positive and professional interaction
- Proactively build strong relationships with customers, identifying potential future needs and opportunities to enhance their experience
- Efficiently manage, organize, and maintain all necessary work equipment
- Represent House Doctors positively and professionally
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience (2+ years) performing a variety of handyman and home improvement tasks
- Proficient in the principles, techniques, and safe operation of equipment and tools used in the handyman trade
- Comfortable using basic computer software and mobile applications for communication, scheduling, reporting, and customer payment collection
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine dedication to providing outstanding customer service
- Highly responsible, dependable, and takes pride in delivering quality work on schedule
- Physically able to perform the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and using hand and power tools for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
HIRING PROCESS & GOAL
- 10-minute phone interview (candidate self-schedules)
- 15 to 20-minute online assessment
- 30 to 60-minute in-person interview
- Possible 2nd 15 - 30 minute interview
- Goal is to fill position such that on-boarding can begin on June 2
