Job Title:  Hangar Assistant

Reports To:  Director of Maintenance


Classification:  Part Time/Hourly



Job Summary


We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Hangar Assistant to help keep our hangar clean, organized, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on support position for someone who takes pride in keeping things in order, is comfortable working independently, and is willing to help with a variety of day-to-day tasks.



Responsibilities



  • Keep the hangar clean, organized, and orderly.

  • Organize tools, equipment, supplies, and other items.

  • Help maintain an efficient and safe hangar environment.

  • Pick up and deliver supplies, parts, materials, and other items as needed.

  • Run local errands and assist with pickups and deliveries.

  • Help load, unload, move, and organize equipment and supplies.

  • Monitor supplies and let management know when items need to be replaced or replenished.

  • Assist with general hangar projects and day-to-day tasks.

  • Perform light cleaning and general upkeep.

  • Follow instructions and safety procedures.

  • Take on other miscellaneous tasks as needed to help keep operations running smoothly.



Qualifications



  • Dependable and punctual.

  • Organized and detail-oriented.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Able to safely lift and move items as needed.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Comfortable running errands and working in a hands-on environment.

  • Previous experience around aircraft, hangars, tools, or equipment is a plus, but not required.
