R&S Groundskeeping is a local family-run business that has been serving Middle Tennessee for 30 years. We specialize in high-quality landscape design, construction, and maintenance. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we’re looking to add a skilled and motivated Hardscape/Landscape Foreman to lead our field crew and ensure our projects are completed efficiently and beautifully.
Position Summary:
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for managing day-to-day operations on residential and/or commercial job sites. This includes supervising a crew, ensuring quality control, reading plans, ordering materials, delivering materials, coordinating with clients and project managers, and completing tasks on time and within budget. We are looking specifically for a candidate who specializes in
- Pavers
- Ornamental Ponds
- Retaining Walls
- Lighting
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew on Hardscapes.
- Interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure work is completed to high standards of quality and safety
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery
- Train and mentor crew members
- Track time, materials, and job progress
- Order materials
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of landscape installation and/or maintenance experience
- 1+ years in a supervisory or foreman role
- Ability to read and interpret landscape construction plans
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and clean driving record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor
Preferred Skills:
- Irrigation and lighting system knowledge
- Hardscape installation (pavers, retaining walls, etc.)
- Horticultural knowledge
- Skid Steer, mini ex, dingo knowledge, and know-how
