Summary:

Halter Landscaping Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Hardscape Foreman to lead our team in creating stunning outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate has
5+ years of experience in hardscape and masonry construction, a strong understanding of installation methods, and a passion for leadership.

As a Hardscape Foreman, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hardscape and masonry projects—paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, and more. You'll manage and train crew members, ensure efficient use of tools and equipment, and maintain strict safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will guide the team and ensure every project is completed to the highest standard.

Reports To:

Operations Management and Project Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Install paver patios, walkways, and retaining walls ( stone, and block).


• Safely operates a variety of mechanical equipment, including skid loaders, backhoes, plate compactors, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws, demolition hammers, and jack hammers.


• Operates automatic vehicles, such as dump trucks and trucks and trailer combinations.


• Move & transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, manual lifting, machinery, etc.


• Perform other manual duties as needed and maintain a clean work site.


• Follow directions from Operations Management and Project Estimator. 


• Communicates with coworkers and customers in a polite and courteous manner.


• MUST have a valid drivers license

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in hardscape and masonry construction.


• Strong knowledge of  hardscaping, and project management


• Must possess a great attitude and willingness to develop team members.


• Able to lift 50lbs+ and  work on your feet for long hours.


• Proficiency in computer software applications


• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.


• Ability to read plans, use a string line or operate a transit.


• Retaining wall, walkway, patio, and outdoor kitchen, masonry installation required.


• Operate all landscape tools & equipment effectively.

Ideal Candidate: 

• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.


• A CDL license is a plus, but not required  


• Adaptable and flexible in handling a variety of tasks.


• Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
