Hatchery QA Technician

Work in hatchery setting performing assigned job duties to verify and confirm correct operation of incubation, ventilation and sanitation programs. Follow all established safety and operational SOP's to achieve goals on hatch , HOF, early mortality and budgets. This is a first shift / day shift position.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

• Perform calibration of all incubation equipment.
• Perform break out's of hatch residue to confirm proper incubation. 
• Compile and collect data from incubation or other trials being performed to confirm or enhance hatchery performance
• Verify and confirm operational SOP's through bacterial testing and established checklists.
• Perform monthly audits to verify overall performance of hatchery programs. 

Educations/Experience Requirements

• High School
• 1- 3 years in hatchery setting
• Completion of all safety training, LOTO and pallet jack certification
