Since opening in 2002, it has grown into a popular seasonal venue featuring a Fall Festival with a massive corn maze and pumpkin patch, “BOOriffic Nights,” with several haunted attractions, A Berry Merry Christmas celebration, and Spring Fest. Position Overview:

We’re seeking Haunt Actors who love to dress up in costumes and then create thrills by day and frights by night! Interested candidates will have enthusiasm for providing frights with the ability to be highly animated while maintaining safety for yourself and our guests.

What You’ll Do:

• You will transform into fictional characters with full makeovers and costumes provided by our talented team. 
• You will terrify and engage our guests by performing in haunted attractions in accordance with Dewberry Farm guidelines.
• Follow clear instructions and safety guidelines set by our team.
• Monitor guest activity to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Keep haunt areas clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Assist with line management and guest flow.
• Communicate with supervisors about any issues, concerns, or maintenance needs.
• Help support other farm areas as needed during peak times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 16 years of age by first rehearsal date.
• Must adhere to farm standards and rules and must maintain a safe environment.
• Be outgoing, have a good attitude, and participate as a member of the team.
• Must be able to carry and wear at least 10 pounds of costume weight.
• Must be willing to perform in various roles in full, approved makeup and/or masks, and costumes as assigned. Responsible for taking care of costumes, masks, and props.
• Be able to stay in character for extended periods of time, performing in front of crowds, both as an individual and as part of a group.
• Be able to perform in the dark, with loud noises, under special effects lighting (occasionally strobes), and in theatrical fog, indoors and outdoors.
• Keep work locations clean.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Dewberry Farm Service Basics (FARM) and Four Keys.
• Must work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. You are applying to be cast in a show and should be available for all performance dates.
