As AMHC expands its continuum of care, our mental health program has a brand new position for a full-time Therapist Consultant for Home & Community Treatment (HCT) based out of Machias Office HCT Therapist-Consultant is responsible for providing mental health and substance abuse assessment, Mental Health treatment, consultation, and educational services as a lead member of the in-home HCT team within the geographic service area to which he/she is assigned. They will provide intensive, in-home supportive services to children and families who are experiencing social-emotional difficulties. Services are offered to the child and family in their natural environments so that skills can be learned and integrated into their day-to-day experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Compassionate HCT services supporting the client and family
• Assist in developing a Collaborative Community Support Plan for the family and children focused on Service to the family
• Demonstrate AMHC's focus on Excellence by providing Respectful services in the home as needed by clients and family
• Support Emergency services mobile staff and family crisis plans when needed with Integrity.

Requirements

•  This position requires a Master’s Degree and licensure as LMSW-CC, LCPC-CC, LCSW, or LCPC within the State of Maine.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
