Head Coach and Team Engagement Specialist

Location: NW Austin, Round Rock & Pflugerville, TX

Hours: ~25 hours/week

Super Soccer Stars and Little Rookies are premier youth sports development programs dedicated to nurturing children’s confidence, teamwork, and physical literacy through fun, age-appropriate soccer and sports curriculum.

Position Overview

We’re hiring a Team Engagement Specialist to play a multi-faceted role supporting both Super Soccer Stars and Little Rookies across NW Austin and Pflugerville. This position blends coaching, marketing, outreach, site engagement, and community recruitment—with a strong emphasis on flexibility, enthusiasm, and impact.

The Team Engagement Specialist will work closely with the Executive Director/Franchise Owner and the Director of Operations and Coaches to ensure seamless delivery of programming, strong community partnerships, and overall program growth.

Key Responsibilities

●        Coaching & Fill-In Support

Step in as needed to lead and support youth sports sessions across both programs, delivering high-quality instruction and maintaining a positive, engaging environment.

●        Marketing & Events

Assist with local marketing initiatives and community engagement events to promote our brand, attract new sites, and strengthen relationships with current partners.

●        New & Re-Recruitment of Sites

Identify and initiate contact with prospective partner locations—such as schools, daycares, community centers, and camps—and manage re-engagement conversations with existing or former sites to drive enrollment and participation.

●        Team Collaboration

Partner with leadership—including the Executive Director/Franchise Owner and Director of Operations and Coaches—to align on strategy, ensure program consistency, and support the overall success of the franchise.

Schedule & Availability

●        Weekday Availability:

o    Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

o    Afternoon/Evening: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (special events may require availability until 8:00 PM)

●        Weekend:

o    Availability until 1:00 PM on select Saturdays.

Candidates must demonstrate schedule flexibility to accommodate coaching, marketing, and community outreach needs.

●        Genuine passion for youth development and sports.

●        Experience or strong interest in coaching, marketing, outreach, or sales—especially in youth-focused settings.

●        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●        Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with leadership.

●        Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license.

●        Ability to pass a standard background check.

●        Comfortable and enthusiastic working with young children.

Compensation & Benefits

●        $23.50 per hour for approximately 25 hours per week.
