Hollytree Country Club, a premier private golf club in Tyler, Texas, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Golf Professional to lead our golf operations. This individual will be responsible for providing an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests while overseeing all aspects of golf operations, including staff management, member engagement, tournament coordination and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play, and overall member experience.
- Lead, train, and mentor golf shop staff, outside services, and teaching professionals.
- Organize and execute club tournaments, member events, and corporate outings.
- Manage the golf shop, including merchandising, inventory control, and sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with club policies, USGA rules, and best practices in golf operations.
- Foster strong relationships with members to enhance their golfing experience and engagement with the club.
- Work closely with the General Manager and Course Superintendent to maintain course conditions and improve overall club operations.
Qualifications:
- PGA Class A certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role at a private or high-end public golf facility.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
- Proven experience in tournament management, golf instruction, and merchandising.
- A passion for growing the game of golf and enhancing the club’s golf culture.
