Head Maintenance & Grounds Supervisor

Lumpkin County Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of district maintenance and grounds operations, ensuring school facilities and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Starting Pay: $19.49/$25.59 hour or higher based on experience

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising and scheduling maintenance and grounds staff
• Performing and overseeing general maintenance and custodial support
• Operating and maintaining equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and wet vacuums
• Managing landscaping, mowing, and grounds upkeep across all campuses
• Coordinating painting, striping, and other facilities improvement tasks
• Assisting with safety inspections and preventative maintenance

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, and team leadership
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong organizational and communication skills
