Head of Accounts.

• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. 
  


• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements and management reports. 
  


• Monitor company cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities. 
  


• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the company's directors. 
  


• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring smooth audit processes and adherence to compliance requirements. 
  


• Manage tax planning and compliance, including accurate filing of VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory obligations. 
  


• Implement strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. 
  


• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing support and development opportunities. 
  


• Supervise daily accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. 
  


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial data with overall company goals.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/ACCA certification is an added advantage).
  


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  


• Strong knowledge of Tanzania’s financial regulations, tax laws, and audit processes.
  


• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  


• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
