Job Description - Head of Business Strategy & Pricing

The Business Strategy & Pricing Lead is responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy, pricing discipline, and business model evolution across global markets, channels, and product categories. The role connects long-term ambition with execution, ensuring alignment across regions, functions, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. 5-Year North Star & Business Model Evolution

·        Lead the definition of the 5-year commercial North Star (growth, revenue mix, margin trajectory, channel evolution)

·        Identify future growth engines across regions, channels, segments, products, and services

·        Drive strategic decisions on business models including B2B, DTC, marketplaces, and recurring revenue

·        Translate long-term ambition into clear priorities and decision frameworks

2. Annual Business Strategy & GTM Alignment

·        Orchestrate the annual business strategy process in alignment with budget, GTM, and product roadmap

·        Ensure alignment across regions on inputs, outputs, timelines, and planning rhythm

·        Define strategic priorities by region, channel, segment, and product category

·        Translate market opportunities and competitive dynamics into actionable GTM plans

·        Ensure consistency between long-term strategy and annual execution

3. Pricing Architecture & Margin Guardrails

·        Build and maintain global pricing architecture across products, channels, regions, and customers

·        Define margin guardrails balancing profitability and competitiveness

·        Establish pricing principles for lifecycle, promotions, bundles, accessories, and services

·        Monitor price realization, discount behavior, and margin leakage

4. Special Deal Logic & Commercial Governance

·        Define structured frameworks for special deals, exceptions, and strategic accounts

·        Ensure decisions are based on business value, margin impact, and strategic relevance

·        Drive disciplined governance and reduce ad-hoc decision making

·        Support CBO in commercial forums and pricing reviews

5. Market Intelligence to Portfolio Decisions

·        Translate market signals into actionable recommendations

·        Identify growth opportunities, risks, and portfolio gaps

·        Support portfolio decisions with commercial and financial analysis

·        Ensure alignment between market insights, GTM, pricing, and product roadmap
