Description
The Head of North America Vertical Strategy is responsible for leading and driving the profitable growth of Global Enterprise, Key National and Convenience accounts within an assigned vertical. In addition, the Head of North America Vertical Strategy serves as the industry specialization leader across the organization and acts as a public face for workforce solutions in their designated vertical.

Making an Impact
• Develop, socialize and continually build an industry-focused approach to delivering multi-brand workforce solutions to our clients
• Translate ManpowerGroup sales strategy and priorities into a clear sales plan and expectations for account owners and sellers.
• Know the portfolio deeply, accurately and consistently forecasting, tracking pipelines, and managing portfolios and resources to support
• Increase revenue and gross profit growth through creative and strategic solution designs and build solutioning capabilities in their salesforce
• Develop, inspire, lead and coach an efficient, consistently high performing and engaged sales teams
• Typical span of control is 5-7 direct reports and oversight of 10-30 clients. Indirect accountability for convenience accounts.
Sharing Expertise
• Provide regular briefings on key industry trends to product and service leaders in each brand to ensure we are providing solutions that are distinctive with competitive advantage for ManpowerGroup.
• Gather and utilize market data and analysis to inform short-term and long-term sales strategies, including for top focus accounts
• Ensure our people have the capability to translate our thought leadership into relevant insights and sales wins with clients
• Leverage deep insight of ManpowerGroup solutions portfolio in creative ways, thinking outside the box and leveraging different elements
• Collaborate and influence internal ManpowerGroup network (brand leaders, delivery leaders, operations and peers) to successfully land and deliver sophisticated deals
• Model and coach across ManpowerGroup salesforce via joint sales calls, business reviews and planning exercises
Gaining Exposure
• Act as industry spokesperson specific to the industry specialization, including public speaking and media opportunities
• Executive sponsor and relationship manager for C-suite clients
• Involved in escalations and act as Subject Matter Expert as necessary
• Leverage connections and networks to capture new opportunities
• Work across the org to ensure seamlessness from sales through to delivery
• Consistently build expertise in full portfolio of ManpowerGroup solutions via relationships with brand leaders
• Engage in spokesperson and social media opportunities that demonstrate our deep knowledge of the workforce trends, building our brand and increasing our share of voice
Your Typical Day
• Develop and drive strategy for an assigned vertical that aligns with overall Sales strategy. Gain buy-in and alignment across stakeholders internally
• Deploy sales execution strategies to track and engage on progress or land new clients in assigned vertical
• Go on sales calls as deep vertical expert and serve as client escalation point
• Serve as vertical SME and contribute to training to build vertical expertise across the organization
• Review portfolio and account and seller performance to manage performance and identify opportunities and risks in vertical (across segments)
• Engage with and be visible to clients and prospective clients through virtual and in-person site visits, specifically with budget decision makers and key leaders that can effect organizational change in their organizations (e.g., C-Suite)
• Sales leadership team activities (analysis, planning)
• Travel (25-50%)

Qualifications
Required
• Management: 7+ years of progressively responsible sales, business leadership and operational experience
• Sales: 7+ years selling, forecasting and pricing a professional solution and / or service
• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Worked for a complex multi-brand and / or matrixed organization
Nice to Have
• P&L: Ownership / management experience
• Education: MBA or related
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in talent management and/or to the staffing industry, relevant experience with one or more industries preferred
• Strong thought leadership
We are open to both local and out of state candidates for this position.
If local (within 50 miles of Milwaukee, WI) this position is based in our Global Headquarters
