Head of Operations - Business Operations Manager

What we're looking for:

We need someone with ~8+ years of experience in operations at a marketplace or multi-sided platform business who has owned P&L responsibility and launched new markets or verticals. You should be comfortable operating in extreme ambiguity at an early-stage company (~4 employees) and have a track record of building operational systems from scratch that scale. Bonus points if you have a JD/legal background or experience with AI-first prototyping tools.

What you'll do:

  Serve as the operational quarterback across GTM, legal operations, marketplace operations, and business operations—owning end-to-end execution

  Build and scale systems, processes, and teams from scratch to support a three-sided marketplace connecting consumers, law firms, and capital providers

  Manage supply and demand balancing across the marketplace, ensuring efficient matching and capital allocation

  
  


• 
  

  Own company-wide operating rhythms, KPI reporting, sprint strategy, and PMO management

  
  


• 
  

  Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives including new market expansion, vendor management, and client success operations

  
  


• 
  

  Work directly with the CEO as the primary partner for translating strategy into execution

  
  


• 
  

  Recruit, manage, and develop high-performing operators while building a culture of accountability and urgency

  
  


• 
  

  Leverage AI tools and low-code prototyping to unblock operational bottlenecks without waiting on engineering
