Compliance teams at banks and fintechs are drowning in financial crimes investigations. Transaction volumes are surging, regulators keep raising the bar, and the work still runs on manual review queues that take hours and are stitched together from legacy vendors. We believe AI will make most of these decisions within a few years, so we built Percy to handle them. Percy learns each team's procedures and makes the same calls their analysts would: clearing false positives, escalating real risk, writing the case narrative, and documenting every decision for audit. It cuts review workloads by 70%+ and routinely catches fraud that human reviewers miss.

Percy is only possible because of the identity platform we've spent four years building underneath it. Because we own the entire identity flow, Percy resolves ambiguity at the source, running its own checks across our verification tools before a case ever reaches a human.

We're backed by QED, Index, Box Group, and Lerer Hippeau, and trusted by companies like Bilt, Nuvei, and MoonPay. We 5x'd revenue last year and plan to do it again in 2026. The team is small, senior, and ships fast.

The Role

Banks and fintechs lean on a small set of consulting firms and advisors to tell them what to buy. We want Percy to be what those firms recommend. As our first dedicated partnerships hire, you'll own that channel: growing the partnerships we already have and building new referral relationships with the firms best positioned to bring Percy to their clients.

This is a hands-on role. You'll source and close referral and channel deals yourself, manage the relationships day to day, and build the playbook for how partnerships work at Footprint as the function grows. You'll report directly to the Head of GTM Strategy.

What You'll Do

• Own our channel partnerships. Manage and grow the relationships with our existing partners, and make sure both sides are getting real value from them.

• Build new referral partnerships. Source, structure, and close deals with consulting firms and advisors who serve banks and fintechs, and get them referring and recommending Percy to their clients.

• Turn partnerships into pipeline. Work with the partners and our sales team to convert relationships into real, qualified opportunities and closed revenue.

• Enable your partners. Give partners what they need to sell Percy credibly: the story, the materials, and the technical understanding to bring us into the right conversations.

• Build the function. Set up the deal structures, agreements, and processes that make partnerships repeatable, and grow the function as it scales.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or consulting, with a track record of building relationships that turned into real revenue.

• A background that maps to our buyers. Either consulting to banks and financial institutions, or partnerships at a B2B fintech, so you understand how these firms and their clients actually make decisions.

• A closer and a relationship builder. You can open a relationship, build genuine trust, and structure a deal that works for both sides.

• Commercially sharp. You think in terms of pipeline and revenue, not just logos and handshakes.

• Comfortable building from scratch. You're energized by owning a function that doesn't have a playbook yet at an early-stage company.

• An existing network of consulting firms, advisors, or channel partners that serve banks and fintechs.

• Exposure to compliance, financial crime, risk, fraud, or identity.

• Experience standing up a partnerships or channel program from the ground up.
