About the Role: 

TEG Sport is seeking a Head of Sport, Asia to drive our regional sporting operations and deliver exceptional live experiences. This senior leadership position offers the perfect blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working with major sporting events and key industry partnerships across Asia's vibrant markets.

You'll be based regionally, managing high-profile partnerships and representing TEG Sport as a key industry player across diverse markets. For the right sports industry leader, this represents a unique opportunity to drive growth in an exciting and fast-moving market.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Strategic Business Development: Secure new partnerships that develop the Sports business.
• Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with venue partners, government entities, and major sporting organizations
• Joint Venture Leadership: Leverage strategic partnerships with rights holders, sports organizations, and local co-promoters to expand market presence and unlock new revenue streams
• Event Portfolio Delivery: Oversee end-to-end implementation and delivery of major sporting events across diverse Asian markets
• Regional Operations Management: Direct multiple delivery partners and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution across all markets

About You 

Essential experience & skills

• Senior Leadership Experience: Senior-level experience within sports/promoting companies with proven industry credibility

• Established Asian Networks: Deep-rooted network within the Asian sports industry, particularly football, with established market relationships
• Commercial & Financial Acumen: Track record in high-value deal negotiation and structure, P&L management, and partnership structuring
• Executive Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities across diverse industries
• Operational Excellence: Hands-on approach with experience delivering complex, multi-market sporting events
• Adaptable Leadership Style: Proven ability to operate both strategically at C-suite level and tactically in fast-paced environments
