Head Pizza Chef - with Growth Opportunities

Ravenna Pizza is high end Italian Pizzeria, located in Northern VA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pizza Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations. This is a leadership role that requires strong culinary expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team.

Duties:
- Plan and create menus that are innovative, appealing, and in line with customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Manage inventory and food costs, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and minimizing waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop strategies for improving kitchen operations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in order to continuously enhance menu offerings
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints related to food quality or service

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Experience in catering or restaurant management is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field is a plus
