At Star Kids Math & Science Academy, we believe that the desire to learn is a natural process Our children enjoy receiving core subject skills such as reading readiness, mathematics, science exploration, global enrichment and social studies awareness through creative and constructive play. Our thematic investigations have been carefully designed to allow us to teach the child not the curriculum. Every child learns differently it is our goal to implement several learning techniques to reach every child.
Children construct knowledge when they engage and interact with the world around them. Children learn best by doing, exploring and being engaged in problem-solving. Providing a variety of activities that are developmentally appropriate exposes our children to creative expression and intellectual stimulation. Our superior math and science exploration program allow the children exposure to a vast array of learning vehicles.
We believe children need an environment that allows them to express themselves and play freely to help develop self-awareness which will promote a positive self-image. We provide a positive environment that will encourage the children to make healthy life choices and grow their self-esteem. Our goal is to provide the children with the support needed to reach their individual optimal level of learning.
Our center is licensed by the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago. All our staff are educated Early childhood professionals, trained in CPR and First Aid certified.
