Header Welder (Nights)

Job Title: Header Welder
Pay: $27–$30/hr
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Some overtime required)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
Weld Test: 3G TIG/Stick & 3G TIG/Flux

Position Overview

A reputable company in Catoosa is currently hiring an experienced Header Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate for this Header Welder position must be capable of reading and interpreting weld procedures, blueprints, and technical drawings, and be flexible in their welding approach. This includes tasks such as fitting nozzles and wrapper plates while strictly adhering to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Read and follow weld procedures to meet required parameters
• Interpret blueprints for welding dimensions and tolerances
• Adapt welding technique as needed for each project
• Work closely with Quality Control to ensure specifications are met
• Operate overhead cranes and jib cranes safely with proper rigging techniques

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Must work in environments with high noise and airborne particles
• Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
