Job Description

**Safety Compliance and Training:**

Administer and coordinate all safety and industrial hygiene activities within the plant
Ensure adherence to federal and state OSHA regulations
Provide comprehensive safety training covering areas such as Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout procedures, personal protective equipment usage, respirator protocols, and incident investigation

Incident Review And Prevention

Review and investigate incidents, injuries, and illnesses to determine root causes
Collaborate with plant managers to implement corrective actions swiftly
Work closely with process engineers to integrate proper safeguards and personal protective equipment requirements into the manufacturing process

Regulatory Compliance

Stay updated on OSHA, Community Right to Know, and other federal and state regulations
Oversee the implementation of Employee Health and Safety management practices in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 program
Support manufacturing and engineering teams in enhancing safety and health compliance programs
