Pay range: $75,000 to $85,000

What You'll Do:

• Lead all facility health, safety, security, and environmental programs, including employee training, regulatory compliance, OSHA reporting, and policy management. 


• Investigate workplace incidents, conduct root cause and risk analyses, manage workers' compensation cases, and develop strategies to reduce injuries and improve safety performance.


• Chair the facility Safety Committee and support continuous improvement initiatives, safety audits, hazard assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and capital project safety reviews.


• Coordinate emergency preparedness and security programs, including Hazmat team activities, DHS compliance requirements, PPE assessments, and collaboration on company-wide safety standards and best practices.

You will bring the following to the business:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Business, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment preferred. 


• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, with excellent written, verbal, and public speaking communication skills.


• Experience leading teams, facilitating group discussions, and driving safety initiatives; Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP) experience preferred.


• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and other physical activities required to support plant safety operations.
