Health and Safety Officer

Job Purpose
To support the implementation of occupational health and safety practices by monitoring workplace safety, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and promoting a safe working environment across the manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibility

· Implement strong health and safety practices across the factory conduct daily safety inspections in production areas.
· Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and report corrective actions.
· Ensure employees follow PPE requirements and safety procedures.
· Support implementation of safety policies and factory safety standards.
· Conduct toolbox talks and basic safety training for workers.
· Assist in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
· Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency preparedness activities.
· Maintain safety checklists, records, and daily safety reports.
· Support safety audits and compliance activities.
· Coordinate with supervisors and departments to improve workplace safety.

Assist the Human Resource/Administration by ensuring good health and safety practices and overall wellbeing of employees working at factory and the nearby community.

Other Specification:

·     Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field

·     2–4 years of experience in similar manufacturing unit
