What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are a popular option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily both at our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours Monday through Friday and as needed in their home.

What does a Health Applications & Technology Specialist at PACE North do?

· It is fully responsible for: health and other common software or applications, including user support and training, problem-solving, improvements and upgrades!

· Provides internal technology support to and is the primary point of contact for external IT partners.

· Administers phone systems, including desk and mobile phones, with inventory tracking, user setup, training, troubleshooting!

· Administers laptops, servers, and other technology with inventory tracking, user setup and training, and troubleshooting.

· Manage applications and technology projects to accurate and timely completion.

· Process technology-related invoices for payment.

· Work to and provide information for technology key performance indicators (KPI) and other related scorecard metrics.

· Please note this is a full-time, in-person opportunity in Traverse City, Michigan. It is not remote.

Requirements

What qualifications should you bring to the table?

· You should have a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a technology-related field is a plus, as is some demonstrated college coursework.

· We’re looking for

1. A self-motivated and resourceful critical thinker, someone who can solve problems with limited input or guidance.

2. Great at customer service and first line user training and support.

3. A strong technology background including application and technology deployment and tracking, 

4. Project management and tracking skills, and can manage vendors.

5. Someone who is focused at work but kind and can be part of a team that excels at high-level independent work.
