Primary Responsibilities Axalta Coating Systems is seeking an Occupational Nurse Manager for our North America Health Care Services (HCS) Department. Key professional requirements include having registered nurse qualification, understanding the administration of Occupational Health programs, and vendor management of these programs. This role requires strong project management skills to effectively manage, communicate, and ensure compliance with yearly medical surveillance, preemployment testing, Fit for Duty, and Return To Work programs. . Primary Responsibilities of the Occupational Nurse Manager Collaborate with Safety, Operations, Human Resources, Global Medical and Risk Management to support HCS in the development and delivery of occupational health procedures and to ensure safety in the work environment Partner with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) to ensure compliance with OSHA and promote employee safety. Responsible to coordinate case activities with local and regional EHS and Risk Management. Develop communications that engage employees. Main HCS point of contact for all US workplace incidents and injuries COVID-19 business response Provide oversight support for OSHA compliance medical testing for baseline and annual testing in accordance with federal, state, and internal policies. Provide medical guidance for Post Offer physicals, drug testing, and medical surveillance as needed. Collaborating with site stakeholders (EHS and HR) to deliver cost effective, quality, compliant OSHA mandated medical testing. Partner with HCS director on policies and processes. Develop wellness and ongoing continuous improvement efforts for the organization. Manage 2 nurses and administrators. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree and registered nurse 5+ years of relevant experience in occupational medicine. 5+ years of relevant experience managing or implementing projects Experience managing other professionals Solid working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA. Proficient with Cority, SAP, MS Office Suite Creative problem solver with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task, a team player who can work effectively and communicate cross-functionally.
