Requirements

 Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified MA: Graduate of a CCMA, RMA, or CMA program with national certification.
• Non-Certified MA: CNA experience accepted. Must be enrolled in a certification program (RMA, CMA, or CCMA) within one year of hire if not already certified.
• BLS certification required (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Experience:

• Customer service experience required.
• Medical office experience preferred.

• Emotional maturity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support distressed or anxious patients and families.
• Team-oriented with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermittent weekend coverage required.

Cognitive & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to process and apply clinical information.
• Multitasking in a dynamic setting.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend for up to 8 hours, lift 25–50 lbs, assist patients, and perform CPR.

Work Environment:

• Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
