Health Educator

The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks a creative and self-driven individual to serve as a Health Educator. The Health Educator will be stationed at the Horizons Youth Clubhouse in Massena, where they will implement prevention and education programming to youth ages 12-17.

In their role, the Health Educator will facilitate health presentations to youth, parents, and community members, conduct one-on-one education with teenagers, design and implement creative activities for youth, and assist in community events. 

Successful candidates should be highly organized, possess strong creativity skills, enjoy working as a team, and also have the ability to work independently and stay self-motivated. The position requires a minimum of an associate's degree in a health or education field, bachelors preferred. 

The position will work primarily from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with some adjustments based on programming needs. Competative salary and benefits.
