Your Day-to-Day

In this role, you will:

• 
  

  Process and distribute incoming patient information (mail, fax, interoffice)

  
  


• 
  

  Scan, file, and maintain accurate electronic health records

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and track patient medical forms (FMLA, STD, health appraisals, CNM orders, etc.)

  
  


• 
  

  Close the loop on referrals and diagnostic orders

  
  


• 
  

  Process medical record requests from patients, insurance companies, attorneys, and agencies

  
  


• 
  

  Assist patients with portal access and record requests

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy standards and confidentiality practices

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with providers and departments to support accurate documentation and continuity of care

  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  
  


• 
  

  Previous office or healthcare administrative experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage high-volume tasks with accuracy

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Strong customer service mindset

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

  Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
