Join Our Team as a Health Information Technician! 

Location: Puyallup Tribal Health Authority | Tacoma, WA | On-Site

Schedule: Full-Time | Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hiring Range: $19.19 - $24.58 per hour

Position Close Date: June 20, 2025

What You’ll Do:

As a Health Information Technician, you’ll contribute in several ways:

  • Scan and manage patient documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Process health record requests with care, confidentiality, and efficiency
  • Support internal departments with timely and accurate health info access
  • Deliver compassionate service to patients seeking their health records
  • Contribute to a culture of privacy, professionalism, and Indigenous-centered care

What You Bring:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • At least (2) years of experience in health information management
  • Completion of a medical terminology course or ability to complete within (6) months of hire
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
