JOB TITLE: Maintenance/ Housekeeping 

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Mission Hill

SUPERVISOR: Health Services Maintenance Supervisor.

FLSA: Non-exempt

SALARY RANGE: $15.00-$25.00 

CPN Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including but not limited to Indian Children and will require a criminal history background screening.

ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS:     In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.  

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for Maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds, repair of small equipment, and minor building repairs. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Painting, Dry Wall repair, AC filter changes, minor plumbing, troubleshooting/minor equipment repairs, working in attics, carrying trash to dumpsters.

· Maintaining the building fire extinguishers monthly inspections and safety equipment.

· Moving and lifting tables and chairs, and office furniture and equipment.

· Maintain exterior grounds, walks, and parking areas. Responsible for clearing sidewalks and entrances during ice/snow.

· Assisting with Medical Emergencies by meeting and directing EMS staff to the appropriate locations, assisting with moving patients when needed.

· Occasional cleaning of bathrooms, assisting with cleanup after patient spills/accidents, clean selected areas of the health facility while employing/observing CPNHS infection control processes and procedures.

· Daily Mail run.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: 

· Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

· Ability to use standard janitorial/custodial supplies and basic hand tools.

· Ability to follow verbal and written directions and instructions.

· Must be self-motivated.

· Ability to communicate well with the staff and the public.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: 

· Must have a high school education or equivalent. 

· Demonstrated experience in maintenance preferred.

· State of Oklahoma Driver’s license is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

· Required lifting of heavy objects. 

· Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking.

· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. 

· Some stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders and stairs, and repetitive movement of wrists, hands and/or fingers. 

· Must meet all health care immunization requirements.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: 

· General clinical environment with frequent exposure to weather, chemicals, blood borne pathogens and patient body fluids.
